tap dancing librarian

shoes (part 1)

I’m so glad we have a bright orange summer reading shirt this year. Now I have something to wear my bright orange sandals with! They are very comfortable and perfect for wearing to school visits!

Dance recital tidbits

So with the dance recital a little more than 2 weeks away, my adult tap class has gone in for a few extra rehearsals. Empty rooms are hard to come by, so often we “share” a room with another class and take turns going over our routines. The past 2 times we’ve shared space with a 1st grade jazz class that does a dance to “Shake Your Groove Thing”. (Of course they’re amazed that we know the words to the song…). Before we arrived this week, they asked the teacher (who is also our teacher) if they were going to share the room with the “big kids” again! Bless their hearts!

i taught them everything they know…

twittering away…

twitter reminds me of when I went to stew leonards on opening weekend…

Think of a name…

Well, it turns out the hardest part of this was coming up with a name! Do I choose something related to my job (librarylady, bookqueen)? Or maybe something reflecting one of my passions (shoegoddess, chocolatedippedandlovingit)? Maybe just combine the two – tap dancing librarian. I’ll keep it for now until I think of something better or if my tap dancing feet wear out…
